Michael Kors Bronze Powder in ‘Beam’ Review

Michael Kors Bronze PowderMichael Kors Bronze Powder in BeamMichael Kors Bronze Powder in BeamMichael Kors Bronze Powder in BeamMeet my new make-up bag staple. The glorious beauty that is the Michael Kors Bronze Powder, £34*. As you can see, the packaging is both understated and luxurious and it’s a product you’d certainly be happy to whip out of your handbag for on the go touch-ups.Not that you’ll need to as the staying power of this bronze powder is amazing- one application in the morning and it lasts me all day. The square gold compact is designed to reflect the iconic collection of Michael Kors watches and the sizeable mirror makes for convenient application. The bronzer itself is huge, meaning you get an incredible 21g of product for your money. That’s about three times the amount of product you usually get with some other popular make-up brands.

This bronze powder is part of the ‘GLAM’ collection of Michael Kors Beauty products and is in the shade ‘Beam’. It’s a deep copper shade and joins two other Bronze Powders in the Michael Kors lineup, ‘Flush’, described as a tan, rosy shade and ‘Glow’, a natural tawny shade. The colour itself is beautiful; a dark but easily blendable shade with a subtle amount of shimmer that gives just enough of a glow to the face. Application couldn’t be easier, the fine powder blends flawlessly into the skin and the colour payoff is evident with the first dab of your brush. As it’s quite a deep shade, I think it would best suit medium to dark skin tones and would look especially beautiful on darker skin. I took the bronze powder on holiday with me and the shimmer gives an especially striking, sun-kissed look against a tan. Here’s some photos of how the bronzer looks with my skintone:

Michael Kors Bronze Powder Michael Kors Bronze Powder Michael Kors Bronze PowderThe bronze powder retails at £34 and you can purchase it from House of Fraser. I think this is a great price for a product that’s in my opinion not only beautifully presented, but an incredible make-up offering from the Michael Kors beauty collection. The bronze powder looks and performs like a luxury product and I will certainly be repurchasing it if my 21g ever runs out!

What are your thoughts on this Michael Kors Bronzer? Will you be purchasing anything from the Michael Kors Beauty Collection?
