LUSH Cosmetics have a knack of taking any holiday and turning it into a bath bomb, bubble bar and glitter filled celebration and this year’s Easter range is no exception (or eggception I should say!) The 2015 Easter collection is full to the brim of gorgeous themed treats that smell just as good as they look and will certainly spruce up spring bath and shower times. I recently attended a LUSH bloggers’ event where I had the chance to explore all of the Easter products and pick out my favourites.
There’s the usual products reappearing at LUSH this season, including the Golden Egg Bath Melt and Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bars and some amazing new additions too. The Hoppity Poppity Bath Bomb is one of my favourite new Easter bath bombs as it’s not only beyond adorable with its cute bunny shape, it even contains popping candy. Immaculate Eggception is another fabulous product, which has a special surprise hidden underneath its vibrantly coloured layers! The middle of the product reveals a cute mini bath bomb, with a chick hiding inside the pink egg and a bunny in the yellow egg, so I couldn’t resist putting one in my basket.
Fans of LUSH’s ‘Honey I Washed the Kids’ soap will also love the similarly scented Golden Egg full of moisturising cocoa butter, though do be prepared for an extremely glittery bath time! While Fluffy Egg, is another returning bath bomb and has the most delicious candy floss scent that’s ideal if you like sweet scents. The Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bars are another treat in the Easter range and contain lemon and grapefruit oils for several refreshing baths.
The LUSH soaps have also not escaped the Easter treatment. The aptly named Carrot Soap contains carrot and bergamot oil to detox and uplift, while Somewhere Over The Rainbow is full of mandarin oil and rose absolute in its shimmery multicoloured bar. Teaming this rainbow themed soap with the Pot O’Gold Shower Jelly would make an amazing gift! I love the imagination that goes into the LUSH Easter range and they’re a great alternative or addition to an Easter egg to buy for yourself or a friend. I actually ended popping one or two of most of the range in my basket to try for myself!
